Lunar Experience

Game Description:

An educational game that spans over multiple events during the 1969 Moon Landing. The player will undergo tasks given to them vocally by real historical figures using ChatGPT. As they learn about the historical events that took place leading up to the moon landing, they also learn about the physics of the moon as it compares to Earth. Collect badges by completing each given task and move on to the next historical site and complete the game after achieving all badges.

Skills:

Progression system implementation, In-game task management, World Space UI proficiency, Coroutine skills, Scene management, Topic research capabilities, Audio and SFX integration, Agile framework experience, Communication skills, Teamwork skills, GitHub and Trello experience.

What I Worked On:

I incorporated most task integrations which involved button interactions, picked-up object placements, scene and game controller management, and badge implementation. Environmental UIs were also done by me with manipulations done through scripts attached to game objects like buttons. Player feedback integrations like badge sounds and level transitional scenes with progress reports were also aspects I implemented.

I myself worked as Scrum Master for the project, where I lead group sprint meetings through the Agile framework. This involved making sure that everyone understood what their next and current tasks were as well as going over what went well and didn't go so well within each sprint. There were 5 sprints, each lasting 1 week.
